What is Short nose?
The ideal length of the nose is when the bridge of the nose’s length is similar with the distance between
the lips and the end of the chin. Usually it is 45~50MM.
But short nose due to the inborn or acquiring, the nose tip is lifted up and short. When seen from the front side, the nostril can be shown a lot.
Differ with the nose tip surgery which only the nose tip is lifted up,
the Short nose surgery requires high technique as the nose tip has to be replaced and made high.
In Graceonyoung, the Short nose will be fixed by using the own cartilage considering the shape of the nose.
The nose tip will be extended and the length of the nose will be increased.

1) selecting the material which will maintain the location of the nose tip depending on
the nose frame and the skin status.
The smooth material will be used if the skin increases well and the bone frame to support is enough.
If not smooth, the solid material will be used and the extended nose tip will be placed and maintained.
2) Own tissue must be used.
If fixed with the artificial implant, there can be damage to the skin, infection, change of the cartilage, and other side effect can occur.
These side effects are the cause of the revision surgery.
