Nose can be divided into 5 subunits (bridge of the nose, nose tip, columella nasi, nostril, alar).
The gathered subunits with enough balance will complete pretty nose such as the bridge of the nose
which has right length and the width and line continued with the other areas, nose tip which is enough
popped out with sharp nose tip, columella nasi which is not drooped and supports the columella enough,
not over-shown nasi, alar which is not wide and has no pounding.

A) Pretty bridge of the nose’s width is 2/3 distance between the both eyes and the columella nasi.
B) The bridge of the nose’s starting point is from the nose to the much popped out point. Pretty bridge of the nose starts from the pupil or double eyelid’s height and the length is similar to the distance between the inner areas of the eyebrow to the nose tip.
C) The bridge of the nose’s line should be suitable with other areas which are connected. The line from the inner area of the eyebrow to the nose tip should have a smooth curve to make it look better.

; female case – 95~100 degrees, male case – 90~95 degrees.
B) When marking the base line passing the nostril, the upper & bottom columella nasi and the base line is 1~2MM far to each other.
Alar not wide and no pounding

A) When seen from the front, the alar’s bottom point and the space between the both eye’s distance are similar. If there are no pounding on the alar,
the alar’s bottom point is the nose’s very outside.
B) If the alar is risen which seems to be pounding, the alar’s evry outside point is located more outside the bottom point. If the is over 2MM,alar will be wide and will give big impression.
C) When seen from the side, the bottom point of the alar is located in front to the inner corner of the eye.
D) The alar’s thickness has to be suitable. Alar is made of 3 floors which are outside skin, muscle, and inner skin of the nose. Thick alar makes the alar look wide.
