What is Ptosis?
When the muscle levator palpebrae superioris which makes the eyelid open look not clear and makes a sleepy eye feeling
Self autodiagnosis & symptom
Sleepy impression: more than less serious level of ptosis makes the eyes look sleepy.
When opening the eyes; eyebrow or forehead muscle movement is a lot and if severe,
pain can be felt from the forehead and the muscle.
To keep on opening the eyes, pressure is continuous to the eyelid.
Also to maintain the opened eyes, blinking will consistently kept on blinking.
Black pupil and the white of the eye can be shown and surprising impression can be also shown.
→ Can give misunderstanding of no ptosis.
BDry eye is severe.
Even after the double eyelid surgery, keeps on loosening.
→ Before the procedure, it is important to check the cause
